Project management methodology should include information security considerations. Security implications should be considered within both project scoping and reviews, with a risk assessment conducted where appropriate. Particular focus should be given to areas of the business covering IT (hardware and software upgrades) , facilities management and  business processes. The desire to just get it done needs to be overcome before, during and after and implementation of business critical changes in  order to protect the overall security of the business. Project management documentation should specifically include and identify information security responsibilities.
